Connecting with Leaders at NSW Parliament

Damien Vella, Tom Breen, and Geoff Barry represented Breen Resources at the WCRA Industry Showcase at NSW Parliament this week – a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers and government representatives shaping the future of waste and resource recovery in NSW.

The highlight? Meeting with The Hon. Penny Sharpe MLC, Minister for the Environment, to discuss the future of waste policy firsthand. These conversations between industry and government are essential if we’re going to build a genuine circular economy in New South Wales.

At our exhibit, we shared Breen’s 75-year journey and showcased the quality recycled products we’re producing from recovered materials – proof that sustainable resource recovery isn’t just good for the environment, it’s good business.

Events like this remind us that collaboration is key. When industry and government work together with a shared vision, we can achieve NSW’s environmental goals and build a stronger, more sustainable future.
